Give to Monda Student Resource Center
Thank you for your interest in donating to the Monda Student Resource Center! We accept monetary donations, shelf stable food and most toiletries for our Student Food Pantry, and new/gently used professional clothing and accessories for our Reid Family Career Closet. Please see below for specific donation instructions.
Monetary or Cash Donations
Monetary or cash donations and gifts to the Monda Student Resource Center allow our team to continue to access the materials needed to support students' essential needs. Gifts can be made online through the Give to Ohio State page. Contributions to support the Monda Student Resource Center are through fund number 318194.

Cash gifts can also be made via check made out to The Ohio State University Foundation. In the Memo Line, please add "Monda Student Resource Center" and the Fund number (318194).

Student Food Pantry Donations
Donations of food, personal care products, childcare items or school supplies can be routed directly to students in need through the work of the Monda Student Resource Center. For the Student Food Pantry, we accept all nonperishable and individual wrapped foods and most toiletries (we do not accept makeup, medication, or skincare items)
Here is a list of our most desirable food items, but all donations are greatly appreciated:
- Canned beans
- Canned broth (beef, chicken, or vegetable)
- Canned fruit
- Canned vegetables
- Canned tuna
- Canned chicken
- Individually wrapped snack foods
- Spices (individual or bulk)
- Razors
- Lotion
- Garbage Bags
- Baby Wipes
- Menstrual Pads
**If buying in bulk, we appreciate items in quantities of 30 or greater
Reid Family Career Closet Donations
We want to ensure that every Buckeye has access to appropriate professional attire so they can dress comfortably and confidently for job interviews, internships, case competitions and networking events. Student Life’s Monda Student Resource Center and the Reid Family Career Closet are collecting professional clothing donations. Donated items will be available to all students at the Monda Student Resource Center.
Anonymous donations can also be made to the Reid Family Career Closet by placing your clothing/accessory donations in one of the Monda Student Resource Center donation bins on campus.
All career-appropriate clothing donations must be laundered or dry-cleaned and ready to wear. Donations should not need repair.
Here is a list of our most desirable clothing items, but all workplace approrpriate donations are welcome:
- Full suits for men and women
- Dress shoes for men and women
- Tennis shoes/sneakers for men and women
- Men’s belts
- Purses and Brief cases
- Women’s skirts
- Scrub bottoms
Delivery Options:
You can drop off your donation in one of two ways during our open hours (Mon, Thurs, Fri: 9am–4pm; Tues & Wed: 9am–7pm):
- Front Entrance: Park on Neil Ave and bring your items through the front doors of the Younkin Success Center (MSRC is on the first floor).
- Back Alley: Pull into the alley behind the building and call us at 614-688-2508. A volunteer will come out to collect your items from your car.

Upon receiving your donation, you will be asked if you wish to document your donation with a Gift-In-Kind Tax Form by a MSRC staff member.
